Poster Size & Orientation

E-Poster must be provided in a PowerPoint slide in 9:16 aspect ratio in portrait orientation

The display screens will be approximately 68cm x 120cm (portrait).

Design Guidelines

Your poster should clearly communicate your research in a visually engaging and concise manner.

The same core principles apply as they would for a traditional printed poster. Using a clean layout, minimal text, and high‑resolution figures/images will translate very effectively to the digital screen.

  • Think about your audience. Who are you writing for, how much explanation do they need?
  • Use clear headings, bullet points, graphs, and visuals to enhance readability.
  • Succinct text; aim for visual clarity and simplicity. Avoid tables and graphs
  • Font sizes should be easily readable from 1–2 metres away (suggested minimum: 24 pt for body text).
  • Use high-resolution images and charts.

Submitting Poster

Before finalising your poster, it can also be helpful to ask a colleague or friend to review it, specifically commenting on the design, layout, legibility of information and clarity of the poster.

Due date: Monday 20 April.

Please check your notification email for where to send your poster file.
