The 12th May is the UN International Day of Plant Health (IDPH), an opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of plant health in our daily lives.
Many celebrations will occur around the world, including the Plant Helath TV video contest, organised by the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies-CIHEAM Bari, the Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative (PBRI) and the EUPHRESCO III project.
This year, the video contest aims to promote the importance of Plant Health research.
We invite you to like your favourite clip on @youtube by May 5, 2026.
The winner will receive a two-week internship at one of the sponsor’s organizations (at an institution under the PBRI-Australia or at CIHEAM Bari – Italy).
The winning video will be broadcast at international events organized for the celebration of the IDPH (e.g., the PBRI Symposium in Cairns, Australia; the ‘Plant Health without borders’ Symposium in Brussel, Belgium).
A People’s Choice Award will be voted on at the Symposium
