The Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative (PBRI) invite you to register to attend the 2026 Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative Symposium, to be held at the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne from 12-13 May 2026. 

The two-day symposium will showcase the following key areas:  Early warning and risk, diagnostics and surveillance, resilient crop protection systems, readiness and recovery.

Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES All accounts must be paid in full prior to the symposium. Early bird registration fee will be available until 6 March 2026. Payment for early bird registrations MUST be received by COB on 12 March 2026. After this date the early bird rate expires, and the standard rate will be applied automatically to all unpaid registrations. CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION We hope that you will not have to cancel your registration, however, should this be necessary cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 13 April 2026 will receive a full refund less $150 (inc GST) administration charge. Refunds for cancellations received between 14 April 2026 and 28 April 2028 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid. Refunds for cancellations received on/after 28 April 2026 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome at no extra charge. Please advise the Conference Secretariat of the details of the substitute delegate in writing. ACCOMMODATION: I agree with the Terms and Conditions outlined on the accommodation page. CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION/TAX INVOICE Once you have completed the online registration form you will receive a confirmation email from info the Conference Secretariat. Please note that the email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when registering for the conference. This confirmation email will include your tax invoice as an attachment. PRIVACY Information collected as part of the conference registration process is owned by the Conference Organising Committee and Kaigi Conferencing and Events. We only access information that you voluntarily give us. We will not provide this information to any third party, other than as necessary to fulfil your request (such as to accommodation providers).


Payment

For payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), bank details will be on your invoice.

Credit card payments will be processed via Eway (a third party gateway) and attract a 2% surcharge applies. Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted.

Payments will appear as SS EVENTS GROUP PTY LTD on your statement. Your tax invoice and receipt will be emailed automatically once you have completed the online payment. 

Your tax invoice and receipt (if paid) will be attached to your confirmation email. This is automatically generated once you have completed the registration process online. 

Finalise Transaction: Once you have completed the eWay credit card payment site, ensure that you press the FINALISE TRANSACTION button and return to this registration site otherwise your registration will not be submitted.
