The Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology is looking to financially support a few anatomical pathologists/trainee pathologists from developing countries in our region who would not otherwise be able to attend this meeting. The meeting will be held Friday 28th May to Sunday 30th May 2027 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, Australia.
The sponsorship grant would include a single return economy airfare, accommodation organized by IAP, complimentary registration for the full course of the meeting, a ticket to the Welcome Cocktail Reception on Friday the 28th of May and a small cash allowance for expenses.
It is a requirement that if you accept the grant, you will need to attend all three days of the meeting and afterwards provide the executive committee with a short report outlining your assessment of its worth to you.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Trainees/Pathologists residing in the following Countries/Territories can apply:
Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu
2. Have not been offered any bursary/scholarships/grants by any division of the International Academy of Pathology (including USCAP) or by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) in the last 3 years
