Reading Country is a Taungurung-Indigenist methodology for understanding what Country is saying. It enables an ‘old ways, new’ approach that guides contemporary biocultural land management and cultural landscape development. This Indigenist research and systemic design approach is fundamental to Reading Country and the ongoing development of other bridging tools for planning, management and governance in cultural landscapes.
